Privacy policy
How Vsolv Research collects, uses and protects personal data on this website, under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Vsolv Research, a sole proprietorship of Dr Anoop Narayanan V, Longfield, Yeyyadi, Mangalore, Karnataka 575008, India (“Vsolv Research”, “we”, “us”). For privacy questions, contact vsolvresearch@gmail.com or +91 81479 13100. QbD Risk Navigator has its own privacy policy, shown when you create an account.
2. What we collect
| Information | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, who you are (student, faculty, company or startup), the service you are interested in, deadline and your message | When you send an enquiry or request a consultation | To reply, prepare a quote and provide the service |
| Email address and chosen tool | When you ask to be notified about a new tool | To tell you when it is available |
| Your consent choices | When you submit a form | To keep a record of your consent and whether you want updates |
| Technical data such as IP address, browser and pages visited | When you use the website | To keep the website secure and working |
Please do not send confidential project details through the website forms. We sign an NDA before you share them.
3. How we use it
We use your information to respond to you, provide and invoice our services, keep the website secure, and meet legal obligations. We send updates only if you tick the box to receive them, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Project files and client data
Files you share during a project are used only for that project, accessible only to the team members working on it, and deleted after the project on request, unless we must keep records by law. Patient data must be de-identified before you share it.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the website and our business, and only as far as they need it:
- Website hosting: our web hosting provider, which stores the website and form submissions.
- Email: Google, which provides our email service.
- Online payments: Razorpay. Card, UPI and bank details are entered directly with Razorpay and never reach us.
These providers are bound by their terms and agreements to protect your data.
For patent work, the information needed is shared with our patent partner, an independent registered patent agent. For formulation and study work, samples and data are shared with our partner laboratories. We do this only with your agreement and under confidentiality.
Your browser also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address but none of your form data.
We may disclose information where the law requires it, for example to a court or regulator. We do not sell your personal data.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted within 6 months. Client records are kept as long as needed for the service and for legal, tax and accounting obligations.
7. Security
We use an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and restrict access to personal data. No online service is completely secure; if a personal data breach occurs we will inform affected people and the authorities as the law requires.
8. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask for a summary of your personal data, ask us to correct or erase it, withdraw consent, have a grievance addressed, and nominate someone to exercise your rights. If you are in the EU or UK you also have rights under the GDPR. Write to vsolvresearch@gmail.com.
9. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The payment page sets one essential session cookie to keep your payment secure; it expires when you close your browser. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
