VSOLV Policy
Academic integrity policy
We help students and researchers do better work. We never do the work in their place.
What we do
- Guide research design, protocols and synopses
- Mentor thesis and manuscript writing, reviewing the author's own drafts
- Analyse data supplied by the researcher and explain the results
- Edit language, structure and formatting, with changes tracked
- Check similarity and AI-writing indicators and guide revisions
- Advise on journal selection and responses to reviewers
- Train researchers in methods, statistics and publication ethics
What we never do
- Write a thesis, dissertation, assignment or paper for submission under another person's name
- Create, alter or selectively remove data
- Use tools or tricks to hide text from similarity or AI-writing checks
- Sell or arrange authorship
- Guarantee publication, grades or approvals
- Submit to predatory journals or contact examiners on a client's behalf
Authorship and acknowledgement
Authorship follows the ICMJE criteria. Where our team does not meet those criteria, we recommend acknowledging editorial, statistical or writing assistance, as ICMJE and COPE advise and as your university or journal permits.
Our commitments
We follow the UGC (Promotion of Academic Integrity and Prevention of Plagiarism in Higher Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2018, and the guidance of ICMJE and COPE. We may decline or stop work that would breach this policy.
